A rewarding career opportunity exists for Project Manager with a leading multidisciplinary building company specialising in commercial fit out, refurbishment, and construction, with supporting divisions in the manufacture of custom joinery and providing ongoing building maintenance and service to client facilities.
Our Client employs over 50 direct staff, 50 contract staff, and over the last 30 years has specialised in interiors generally up to $10million. Our project portfolio includes fit out of corporate offices, retail, higher education, hospitality, and airports. Our target profile is directed at design significant fit out works, which may include a degree of complex structural new build / refurbishment work.
The position will entail management of time, cost, quality, health, safety, and environmental, on a number of projects, including contract administration, and site direction of subcontractors. The Project Manager will be one of 6 in the company, and will report to the Construction Manager.
The applicant will require a sound knowledge of building practices, subcontract management, project scheduling, client / consultant liaison, site management, and contract administration. Tertiary and/or trade qualifications relevant to the role are favourable. We are searching for a professional with well-rounded construction knowledge, experience in a similar role in a diverse range of projects, and a passion of quality.
Remuneration will be based on experience and the range will be between 80k – 130k packages
