The Performance Engineer is responsible for addressing software performance risks and issues throughout the development process, especially prior to release.
The Performance Engineer works closely with all members of the development team, especially developers, to ensure that performance objectives are set and met for software deliverables as they are developed, performance issues are exposed and addressed as soon as possible, and software causes of performance issues are identifies and eliminated.
Proven experience with Performance, penetration testing and tuning of application servers Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss and relational databases.

Required Skills:
* 5+ years Java, .Net programming experience.
* Understanding of critical performance engineering concepts, including throughput, residence time, latency, demand, memory and resource utilisation.
* Knowledge of and experience in software performance engineering techniques, activities and/or tools:
* Identify potential limitations in software architectures
* Software performance modelling concepts, techniques and tools.
* Designing, implementing, executing, and analysing software performance tests and benchmarks.
*Identify and resolve software bottlenecks
* Developer performance testing techniques and tools
* Experience with Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss
* Oracle Database performance tools knowledge and experience.
* Written, verbal and personal communication skills.
* Ability to analyse, understand, and communicate to others technical data, specifications, designs, etc.
