Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you responsibilities will include:
- Full function end to end payroll
- Managing the fortnightly payroll
- Preparation and payment of payroll tax, superannuation, redundancy and long service leave contributions, termination pays
- Updating employee files, leave balances, pay adjustments
- Charge of worker’s compensation, return to work plans and injury claims management
- Assist in answering payroll queries
To be successful you will have prior strong payroll experience and a good understanding of payroll practices. You will be a team player, have a good eye for detail and have a flexible approach. Proven experience within a large high volume payroll environment will be favourable, but not essential.
