Our client is a leading Supply Chain specialist that supports the Manufacturing and Technology industry globally.

 

We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager, Supply Chain to join their Regional Supply Chain Team.

 

Candidates will:

  • Lead & coach planning team to improve service performance.
  • Lead collaborative efforts between Sales, Operation and Planning, to resolve conflicting schedules, priorities and objective.
  • Understand, plan and communicate within the department and with internal and external partners to accommodate and lead change.
  • Focus is on the performance, optimization and quality of the purchasing, inventory, marketing and customer service activities.
  • Identify and recommend changes in to improve service and cost.
  • Provide a resource for in-house consultancy for Supply Chain best practices.
  • Support integration projects and company initiatives.



Requirements:

 

  • Degree holder in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
  • At least 10 years experience in planning and supply chain, with 2 years on leading small team.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication & interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with tight schedules and meet deadlines
  • Self motivated, well organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal, people management and communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written, English and Mandarin
  • Travel is required
