Client:
Our client is a fast growing engineering consultancy who specialize in providing effective engineering and project management solutions across major resources and infrastructure projects in Western Australia. Currently involved in major infrastructure projects for both small and large mining producers they now require a Mechanical Project Engineer to join the site based team on a 9 days on and 5 days off FIFO roster.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years plus experience as a Project Engineer with previous resources experience essential. Formal Mechanical Engineering qualifications essential
- Previous EPCM experience a strong advantage with a strong background working across iron ore projects a strong advantage
- Previous experience in preparing scopes of work and development of schedules and budgets
- A strong understanding of project controls procedures including contracts and cost control & scheduling
- Solid supervision capabilities and client coordination skills
- Solid reporting capabilities, strong leadership skills and a high attention to detail required
