We are currently seeking a Support Analyst for a dynamic and growing software development company based at their head office here in Melbourne’s East. The client is a Microsoft Gold Partner, who are expanding once again and we are now actively seeking a positive and enthusiastic professional who can work independently as well as along-side the current team of 4 support specialists.
This particular Support Analyst position is responsible for two major long-term customers, therefore exceptional communication and presentation skills are paramount. Your day to day responsibilities will include, attending to reported bugs, customer requests, upgrades, issues and queries in a timely manner; providing first point of contact for Customers for all first and second level support. Plus we need someone who is savvy in providing management reports on a weekly basis; liaise with in-house Business Analysts regarding new requirements and most of all provide exceptional client facing customer service.
Other skills and experience required:
- Minimum 2+ year Help Desk support, level 1 and 2
- Exposure to BA practices, Technical Recommendations, Product configuration, Testing and User Training
- Management Reporting, upgrades and strong Customer Support experience is key
- Experience in Windows XP, Server 2000/2003 and MS Office Suite
- Understanding / experience deploying Microsoft desktop software
- Exposure to SQL, VPN, Remote Desktop, Citrix and or Use Case Technique would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and analytical skills ; attention to detail; positive “can do” attitude
