The Role:
At present our client has the requirement for a Project Manager to look after customer site relocation. This is a “hands on” role that will require the successful candidate to handle all IT aspects of the move, comms room, cables, pabx electrical. Work with customers internal IT teams networks, purchasing, field services, help desk and more.
Duties will include:
- Managing relocation projects
- Conversing with electricians on their level
- Being hands on technical within the Comms room
- And more
Requirements:
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing and committed individual with a solid technical background and a proven history in successful Project Management. This role will be part time a few days per week initially or 2/3 hours per day 5 days per week whichever is preferred and then may turn into full time position.
Desirable Technical skills will include:
- 2 Years experience as a Project Manager
- Strong understanding of a Comms Room environment
- Prince 2 or other industry certifications is a plus
- Electrical degree or similar
- Experience with Pabx cabling
